Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Dusklight Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at dusklight.digital (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or contact us through the Site, how we use that information, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. It works alongside our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company or project (optional)
  • An approximate budget range (optional)
  • The message you write to us

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, some technical information is collected automatically:

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting platform (Vercel) automatically records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. It collects aggregated, anonymized usage data — such as pages viewed, referring source, and general device, browser, and country information — without using cookies and without tracking you across other websites.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up about a possible project
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services
  • Keep the Site secure and working properly
  • Understand how the Site is used, in aggregate, through analytics
  • Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations

We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep the Site as close to cookie-free as possible:

  • We do not use cookies for advertising or to track you across other websites.
  • Our analytics provider, Vercel Web Analytics, is cookieless — it measures traffic using aggregated, anonymized data and does not store cookies or persistent identifiers on your device.
  • A small number of strictly necessary cookies may be used by our hosting platform to keep the Site secure and functioning.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform their work:

  • Resend delivers your contact form submission to us by email.
  • Vercel (Vercel Inc.) hosts the Site, maintains the server logs described above, and provides privacy-friendly, cookieless Web Analytics.
  • Stripe processes payments. If you pay an invoice, that happens on a Stripe-hosted page; the Site itself does not collect or store your payment card details. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Payments

The Site does not process payments directly. When you pay an invoice, we send you to a secure, Stripe-hosted page. Your card number and payment details are entered on Stripe’s systems and are not collected or stored by Dusklight Digital.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, for the length of our relationship plus a reasonable period for legal and business records. Server logs and analytics data are retained according to our providers’ standard settings. We will delete information sooner on request where we are not required to keep it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us, or ask a question about this policy, by emailing lacey@dusklight.digital. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
  • Request access to, or deletion or correction of, your personal information
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell or share your personal information
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights

To exercise these rights, email us at the address above. We will verify your request using the email associated with it before responding.

EEA and UK residents (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you contact us), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site, and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we are based in the United States, information you provide is processed there.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide additional notice.
